First Time?

You don't have to have it figured out

If you're reading this wondering whether you'd fit in here you would. Most people arrive feeling exactly like that. That's normal, and it's welcome.

Before you come

No experience needed. None at all.

You don't need to be fit. You don't need experience. You don't need to have done Pilates before, or know what a reformer is, or feel confident walking into a room of strangers. We'll take care of the rest.

01Your questions, answered

Everything you might be wondering

The honest answers to the things people quietly worry about before a first class.

01

What happens when you arrive

Come 10 minutes early for your first class. Someone will meet you, show you around, and talk you through anything you're unsure about. You'll fill in a short health form so we can keep you safe and adapt anything you need.

02

What to wear

Something comfortable you can move in. Grip socks for Pilates (we have some if you forget). Bring water. That's it.

03

Can I come alone?

Yes. Most people do the first time. You won't be the only one, and you won't be left to work it out on your own.

04

What if I can't do something?

Then you don't do it. Everything can be adapted, and nobody will make a thing of it. Your instructor will quietly offer options throughout the class.

05

Can I bring my baby?

To our baby-friendly classes, absolutely. They're not a distraction from the session — they're welcome in it, and so are you exactly as you are that day.

06

What if I'm nervous?

That's the most normal thing in the world here, and it passes faster than you'd think. Tell us it's your first time and we'll look after you.

♡

What if I can't afford it?

Talk to us. Our Open Door Fund exists so cost is never the thing that stops a woman walking through the door. It's a simple, private conversation no explaining yourself in public, no proving anything. We'll quietly find a way.

The first step

Come as you are.

You don't need to have it figured out. You just need to walk in.
