For Employers

Return To Her

Around one in five women don't return to their job after maternity leave. Many who do return leave within a year. Companies spend a fortune on recruitment and almost nothing on the moment they're most likely to lose someone. Return To Her is built for that moment.

What it is

Real classes, real people, real connection

A structured wellbeing programme supporting women through maternity leave and back into work movement, community and genuine support, delivered by people who remember what those months feel like.

Not a webinar. Not an app nobody opens. It's rarely about the work it's about coming back to a version of your life that no longer fits, while nobody acknowledges that everything about you has changed.

The journey

Three phases, one continuous thread

From deep in maternity leave to six months back at work support that doesn't stop the day she returns.

1
Phase one — during leave

Staying connected to something that's hers

From 12 weeks postnatal onwards. Weekly baby-friendly movement classes, so she doesn't need childcare to look after herself. Access to our wider community of women in the same season. Postnatal-specific support: pelvic health, rebuilding strength, sleep and energy.

2
Phase two — the transition

Returning as who she is now

The eight weeks before she returns. Confidence and identity sessions — returning as who she is now, not who she was. Practical support with the mental load, the guilt, and the logistics nobody warns you about. This is the phase most employers skip entirely, and the one that decides whether she stays.

3
Phase three — back at work

Finding her footing

The first six months back. Continued class access, so wellbeing doesn't stop the day she returns. Community connection with other returning mothers. Ongoing support as she settles back in.

The business case

Why it matters to employers

Retention. Replacing an experienced employee costs a significant multiple of their salary keeping one is dramatically cheaper.

It's visible: unlike most wellbeing spend, employees experience this first-hand and talk about it. And it sets you apart. Very few employers support women well through this transition. The ones who do become the ones people want to work for.

You sit beside an incubator not knowing which way it's going to go. Then you come home, and you're expected to just carry on. That's the gap Reignite exists in.
Working together

How it works

Sponsored places fund a set number of places per year for employees going through maternity leave. Ongoing partnership an annual arrangement covering every employee who needs it. Or bespoke, built around your workforce and location.

Sessions delivered at our Somerset centre, or on-site where practical. Every programme also gives back to Southmead so supporting your employees supports the unit that saves babies' lives.
