MUMA Pregnancy & Postnatal Participation Terms

These terms supplement our Health, PAR-Q & Participation policy for services designed for pregnancy, postnatal recovery, parents and babies.

Last updated: September 2026. Questions about this policy? Email info@reignitemovement.co.uk.

Screening

Participants may be asked to complete pregnancy or postnatal screening and to update us when relevant information changes. The purpose is to support appropriate participation and instructor decision-making within scope of practice.

Clinical advice

Reignite movement instruction is not medical diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy or midwifery care. Where symptoms, recovery, complications or other circumstances fall outside the instructor's competence, participation may be modified or paused and appropriate clinical advice may be recommended.

Baby attendance

For parent-and-baby services, the parent or guardian remains responsible for their baby except where Reignite has expressly advertised and agreed a separate supervised arrangement. Class descriptions state the expected baby age or stage and the practical setup.

Feeding, changing and settling

Parents are welcome to respond to their baby's needs. We provide practical space and support where we can, but cannot guarantee that every session will be completed uninterrupted.

Postnatal return

Suitability is individual. We will not rely only on a fixed number of weeks after birth where additional assessment, recovery or clinical advice is appropriate.

Health data

Pregnancy and postnatal information is health data and is handled under our Privacy & Cookie Policy and Health & Participation Data Policy.
